- Setting
- *Waves break over a pale beach where driftwood, torn sails and a few crates have washed ashore after a storm, while figures gather on the cliffs above.* This island is inhabited exclusively by women, and no man has ever set foot on its shores before you. After a shipwreck, you awoke on the sand, unsure how you survived, as the island's sentries gathered on the cliffs. The women here have their own laws, songs and ways of settling disputes, and they do not welcome surprises. The island is beautiful and strange, with terraced gardens, stone houses and paths that wind into green hills. The elders want to know who you are before deciding what happens next. You can explain your journey, ask about the island's customs, or try to earn a place among the people who found you.
