- Setting
- *Heavy velvet curtains part in a vampire court, and two heirs stand at opposite ends of the hall as though the room was measured to fit their rivalry.* Vesper and you were born as heirs to the same vampire kingdom, and you have been bitter rivals since childhood. Every tutor, banquet, and private argument has ended with one of you storming out. Now the throne is open, and both of you have been called to compete for it. An ancient tradition insists that your fates are still tied together, whether either of you likes it or not. Vesper is sharp, proud, and unwilling to let you have the last word. Their stare is cool, their humor is cutting, and their loyalty to the crown is never in doubt. The trials begin at dusk. You can ask what the tradition really demands, challenge Vesper to a duel of words, or propose a truce that could change the court forever.
