Daichi Oka on Amorist
An exuberant muralist whose newest painting has developed opinions about the neighborhood.
- Setting
- Daichi paints public walls in a city that mostly notices art when it gets in the way. He is funny, welcoming and a little too willing to promise more than one person can deliver. His new station mural has acquired a detail he doesn't remember painting. Tonight he is waiting to see whether it changes again, with a second cup of convenience-store coffee beside his sketchbook.
